Have you got what it takes to be our new Head of Service (Contracting and Investment)?  We are building great places together, putting residents first.  You must have the interests of tenants and residents at the heart of what you do.  You will be entrusted with providing safe, decent homes to around 23,000 households in Hull.

You will inspire your large team of property professionals with your commitment to excellent customer service, and attention to performance.  You will ready them for the many challenges and changes in this area including increased Consumer Regulation, likely amendments to the Decent Homes Standard, and opportunities brought about by technological innovation.

You will be an experienced senior leader with well-developed skills in relationship management across a wide range of stakeholders from elected members to contractors, as well as tenants.  You will have the skills to secure decisions on major investment, and the practical knowledge to arrange implementation through your team.  Your extensive knowledge of construction / property maintenance or finance disciplines will place you in good stead to let and monitor major contracts for this work.

You will be a key player in our overall management team for Neighbourhoods and Housing, so will be required to have a breadth of knowledge on social housing issues, backed by a CIH level 5 qualification or be willing to achieve this qualification within the next two years.
