Specialist Trainer – Digital
Rated as Good by Ofsted for the delivery of government funded training programmes, Hull Training and Adult Education, part of Hull City Council, is one of the largest providers of vocational training and further education in the region with an excellent reputation for delivering quality courses to industry.
Due to increased demand and significant planned growth over the next 2 years we are now looking to add a Specialist Trainer to our Business, Creative & Digital centre to oversee and contribute to the delivery of our digital provision. We are seeking inspiring and enthusiastic individuals with relevant vocational experience and qualifications and are particularly interested to hear from you if you have skills in any of the following areas; digital communication, networking, data collection and storage, technical support.
Teacher training and/or assessing qualifications would be advantageous as would previous experience of apprenticeship standards delivery, but above all we are looking for individuals who can make a significant contribution to the continuous improvement to the quality of our provision. Innovative and proactive with a hands-on approach, the ideal candidate will be organised and able to work within a team to inspire the very best results.
You will be expected to deliver both practical and theory based sessions to students as well as carry out work-based visits to employers, so good communication skills and an ability to motivate others is essential. You will also be expected to effectively monitor and track the progress of your learners from beginning to end of their programmes and adapt to learner needs to ensure they all progress and ultimately achieve their qualifications successfully.
Should you require further details of the role please contact Lisa Shepherdson on 01482 614157 for an informal discussion.
