We are offering a great opportunity to take up the position of Head of Revenues and Benefits at Hull City Council.

The successful candidate will have extensive successful Senior Leadership experience of working within a Revenues and Benefits environment and will have expert knowledge of legislative policy and technological changes to inform and continually develop the Revenue and Benefits Service.

The role will require the postholder to lead and respond effectively to changes in national policy on the administration of Housing Benefit, Local Council Tax Support and the billing, collection and recovery of Council Tax and Business Rates along with the recovery of Sundry Debt seeking to maximise income collection for the Council.

You must possess the ambition to drive this service forward and be able to lead, coach and motivate diverse teams in order to continuously improve and meet the service objectives. The delivery of an excellence customer service is a key priority for our residents within the city along with working closely with stakeholders to identify customer and citizens needs to ensure that these are delivered.
