Vocational Tutor - (Electrical)

Recently rated by Ofsted as good for delivering apprenticeship Hull Training and Adult Education, part of Hull City Council, is one of the largest providers of vocational training and further education in the region with an excellent reputation for delivering quality courses to industry. Due to increased demand, we are now looking to add to a team of skilled tutors within the Electrical department of the Engineering Centre.

We are seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic Tutor with relevant electrical qualifications and experience of working in the electrical and / or engineering industry. Although previous teaching experience would be preferred, we have an excellent record of teacher training and encourage anyone who feels they have skills and the ability to pass on their knowledge to learners to apply.

We are looking for individuals who can make a significant contribution to the development and skills of the next generation of electrical engineers.

The candidate should be organised and able to work as part of a team or individually to fulfil their role requirements. You will be expected to deliver both practical and theory-based sessions to students as well as carry out site based visits to our employers.

The candidate will be expected to effectively monitor and track the learner journey during their time on program, previous experience of apprenticeship standards delivery would be advantageous.
