| Proposal | I Richard Lee, the applicant and owner of the property plan the removal ( Felling ) down to grass level of one ( 1 ) Ash tree to the rear of 158 Marlborough Avenue immediately. I have consulted a local arborist ( Tree Surgeon ) and he has advised to remove/cut the tree down with immediate effect. The arborist will remove the tree on Friday 19th October 2018. The reason for this quick decision is that the Ash tree has had several large leader branches brake off in the recent high winds and the remaining tree is now leaning/hanging dangerously over 2 x garages to the rear of the property. The tree also appears to be rotten which could have contributed to the tree braking its branches. There is also one main leader branch that has broken from the main trunk of the tree and is being kept from falling by an adjacent ash tree. The quick removal of this tree in my opinion is the correct action as the tree stands in a very dangerous position. |
