I and my partner have lived on arthur lucan for 3 years the property's are owned and maintained by a housing association and is quiet and there's lots of the older generation on here. We don't agree with this application the biggest thing being is noise mess and dust in our gardens as we try to relax during summer etc as this development literally backs onto arthur lucan close this is a quiet area and the last thing we need is noise from 7am till 6pm 5 days a week there is also lots of wildlife on the site due to the woods and large field we get foxes etc overnight on regular basis the traffic on Preston Road is also not great at rush hours etc and all medical practices are full with no extra positions for new patients there is also the flooding aspect holderness drain almost floods every year what protection is in place for these homes?
We all know you will go ahead with the development anyway regardless of what everyone says as its all about money not current residents lives if you wanna build that bad why not build where you have knocked down 100 houses on Preston Road if this goes ahead you will ruins lots of people's quiet lives and also make there relaxing summers in there own gardens etc unbearable which personally i think is out of order, thanks for reading my comments.

I object to the above planning permission for the reasons listed below;
Shutting public footpath - how can this be allowed?
Effect on local wildlife - protected newts, owls, foxes, hedgehogs, deer, a number of different birds?
Natural habitat with an array of flowers and plants
Increase in crime rate in an already disadvantaged area
Local transport is not sustainable, already cars queue from Marfleet Lane to Marfleet Group doctors on Preston Road, not to mention traffic issues when rovers are playing.
Local schools already struggling with grades and behaviour of children adding more will not improve this.
No medical facility which could accommodate additional patients
Noise pollution on houses been built
Flooding on the land
Increase in anti social behaviour
Mess on roads from building works
I have lived in my house for nearly 20 years quite frankly if planning goes ahead i will try and move as you will have ruined a lovely part of nature. Just because the council do not maintain local residents do cutting back hedges/bramles on the public footpath.
Why cant the council not take some pride with this green space and make it a official nature reserve maintaining the wildlife and encouraging the expansion of much protected newts?

Careful consideration is required regarding such a large housing development due to the following reaons:
- Flooding, this happens every winter especially bad in 2007
- Closure of public footpath
- Destruction of wildlife, foxes, squirrels, deer, hedgehogs, great crested newt, sparrow hawk, kestrel to name but a few
- Pressure on local amenities
- Extra traffic e.g. Preston Road and Marfleet Lane junction
- Increase in crime in the area
