Firstly we would like to thank you for making us aware of this recent proposal and are hopeful you take into consideration our views and comcerns. As the longest tenanted residents of the area, this is the first time a proposal has been enquired of this nature. With the proposed extension towards our property we believe this would intrude on privacy between the houses as the windows would be closer together. Especially the front facing window of the development that is reserved for a bedroom. Additionally with the extension towards the property we believe this will effect our recent investment into purchasing our property devauling instantly a large investment to enter the property market. Additionally the plans to the side of the building will ruin the symmetry between the four properties. Its this symmetry that gives the houses character. With the large extension to the house covering most of the gardens/grass area. The concerns to flooding in the area will also appear. As the area is heavily urbanised and with limited grass the lack of run off could result in flooding and warped brickwork that has already occurred in the areas surrounding the 4 properties.
