We would like to object to the planning application above for the following reasons, The external wall extends beyond the perimeter of our external, we have a south facing garden and as such the proposed extension will impede the light in our rear sitting room especially in autumn and spring when the sun is lower in the sky. We chose to live in the avenues area due to the unique architectural features, we have an original bay window to the rear of the property, which was one of the selling points to our home. I believe that having an extension that protrudes beyond the perimeter of our external wall will have a negative impact on the overall appearance of our home and will not be aesthetically pleasing. We have a lovely outlook of out bay window and the extension would have a direct impact upon this as we will be looking out onto a brick wall. The proposed extension protrudes beyond that of our external wall, as we have a bay window, this would be extremely concerning as i feel it will create a narrow space which would become very sheltered and not have sufficient air flow to prevent the area becoming damp. The area would become susceptible to rain running down the walls and as such we do not believe it will be able to dry out sufficiently.
