I live opposite the site of the proposed building and would like to raise objections to this application for the following reasons:
The proposed 4 storey building would be taller than all the other buildings in the vicinity and would deprive all such buildings of natual light. There would be significantly more people in the area, with the potential for noise disturbance. Most of the buildings currently in Grove Street, Pearson Avenue and Pearson Park were built over 100 years ago and have the characteristics of older properties; i have lived in Grove Street for almost 14 years and i intentionally chose an older house for this reason. A modern building would look incongruous alongside this.
