Fixed Term due to funding until 31 January 2021 due to the delivery of a time limited project.

An opportunity has arisen to work as part of a specialist project team to implement a new housing management system across the Neighbourhoods & Housing Service. The post holder will report directly to the project ICT Lead and work closely with the wider project team, the supplier, other service areas and stakeholders to ensure a smooth implementation which delivers improvements to processes and the customer experience but also minimises disruption to business as usual.

The Digital Developer will work within a small ICT project team and be responsible for work streams as directed by the project ICT Lead, including the review of essential integrations. Experience of designing, developing and testing integrations and interfaces in a complex corporate environment, across multiple back office systems and architectures, is essential. In addition, experience of writing test scripts, arranging user acceptance testing, documenting all work performed and working to recognised project management methodologies is crucial.

Managing external partners and contracts in order to provide services to support the delivery of the HMS Project and working with the corporate ICT team to ensure the ongoing management of the applications necessary to support the Council's services will be fundamental.

Interviews will be held week commencing 28th October 2019.

We reserve the right to amend the dates associated with this advert, which may include closing the advert early where required.

The Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all employees and volunteers to share this commitment.
