Fixed Term until 30 September 2021 (subject to confirmation of funding)

Hull City Council is the lead partner and accountable body for the Humber Business Growth Hub programme which is delivering an exciting new ERDF funded expansion of the Growth Hub service.

We are looking to recruit an additional  Programme Officer to support the Growth Hub Programme Manager in running  the programme, taking responsibility for specifying and commissioning delivery aspects of the programme, processing applications for funding support, undertaking eligibility checks, producing client reports, financial management, funding claims, audit and monitoring and utilising and maintaining an appropriate recording/CRM system.

You will engage with business advisors, intermediaries and small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) in the Humber LEP area, providing them with key information about the Growth Hub service, checking delivery evidence and assessing eligibility for the programme.  You will therefore have experience of ERDF funding programmes or externally funded projects.

You will work closely with the Growth Hub Programme Manager and ERDF Programme Delivery team based at the Humber Local Enterprise Partnership.

The Growth Hub programme, including the Programme Officer role, is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investments Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.  Established by the European Union, the European Regional Development Fund helps local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support innovation, businesses, create jobs and local community regeneration.

The Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all employees and volunteers to share this commitment.
