We are seeking an Early Help Officer for Education to join an innovative and forward-thinking team to lead on the development and implementation of supporting education settings to take a Relational Whole School Approach to emotional wellbeing and mental health and to also develop the further integration of the Early Help Model within education settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Senior Mental Health leads in education settings to support the implementation of DfE whole school approaches to emotional wellbeing and mental health.
- Work collaboratively and in an integrated manner with NHS funded Mental Health Support teams and other emotional wellbeing services in the city to meet the needs of Hull’s children and young people.
- Be a key link for Early Help within primary schools, secondary schools, post 16 providers, special educational needs, pupil referral units & alternative provision.
- Work with and provide support to education settings to enable positive engagement with the Early Help Model including development of Team Around the School
- Contribute to being a trauma informed city
- Support projects that impact on education
