In this critical post you will be responsible for the Hull’s Integrated Single Front Door including the Assessment Teams and the Vulnerable, Exploited, Missing and Trafficked (VEMT) team. Working as a member of the Senior Leadership Team for Safeguarding you will lead and develop plans to ensure that the safeguarding needs of children, young people and families are met.
You will be an ambassador for Hull City Council and be integral in the development of our strategic plans for the safeguarding needs of children and young people working with partners across the City. You will lead by example and be a role model across our workforce, providing inspirational leadership which motivates people to embrace change, improve practice and performance which results in better safeguarding and well-being for children, young people, their families and the communities in which they live across Hull.
You must have extensive experience and consistent achievement at a senior leadership level in a children’s services setting coupled with a professional qualification in social work.
