The Council is recruiting to two roles within the Business Improvement Team within Streetscene Services.
One post is permanent 37 hours per week.
One post is fixed term for a 6 month period to cover the secondment of the substantive post holder. The working hours for this role is for 3 days over a 2 week period. This equates to 7.5 hours in week 1 and 14.5 hours in week 2.
The key purpose of the Systems Process and Scheduling Officer is to affect management control of all services through risk and performance management; to maintain and develop efficient processes through the support and development of Streetscene’s fundamental operational systems and via its Business Improvement Programme drive change that ensures ongoing development of the service, improving performance whilst considering the customer journey.
This is a key role that will ensure the progression of Streetscene’s Business Improvement Programme and the compliance with agreed and invested systems within Streetscene and the wider Council and be fundamental to the development of systems and their use to improve decision making and future service provision.
Given that Streetscene is a dynamic, multifunctional service that operates against a background of limited resources the post will adapt to the changing and challenging landscape of this front line service.
