The environmental health service can investigate these types of noise complaint -
industrial - noise from factories, machinery, ventilation fans, air conditioning units, tannoys, sirens, reversing bleepers on vehicles, vibration
noise from pubs, clubs, shops or offices, such as loud music
alarms - from homes, businesses or cars. These might be security or smoke alarms
dogs barking
loud music from people's homes
other noises people make, usually at home, such as shouting, banging, arguing or sexual activities
DIY noise
noise from construction sites
street noise, such as car radios, loud speakers, buskers or vehicles
other noise, such as from railways or household appliances
