Whether you are an experienced cyclist, or are just trying cycling again after a break, as one of the flatest cities in the UK, Hull's a great place to travel by bike.
Cycle route planners
Our cycle route planner is provided by Transport Direct who work with both public and private travel operators and local and national government.
You can try it out by entering your details in the box on the right.
The full trip planner offers a variety of customisable options including the ability to choose the speed you would like to travel and whether you would like to avoid unlit roads
Sustrans are a leading UK charity enabling people to travel by foot, bike or public transport. They have a variety of cycle route maps for leisurely rides through Yorkshire, together with a searchable journey planner
We publish cycle maps every two years to help you plan your cycle routes around the city.
The maps included comprehensive coverage of 20mph zones, safer routes to schools and traffic calmed areas which cover nearly 30 per cent of the residential road network.
You can download a copy of the Hull cycle map and the city centre cycle map below*.
