The Spurn Lightship guided ships safely through the treacherous River Humber for almost 50 years. Step aboard to discover how it was used as a navigational aid and find out what life was like on board.

Opening times

The Spurn Lightship is currently closed for refurbishment and repair work. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Location

The Spurn Lightship is moored at Hull Marina. Map (link opens in a new window).

Accessibility

The Spurn Lightship is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility problems. Please wear sensible shoes and clothing when visiting the vessel.

We reserve the right to refuse admission in the interests of visitors' health and safety.
