From majestic mammoths to Saxon invaders, visitors to the Hull and East Riding museum of archaeology can look forward to an experience that is unique, educational and, above all, fun. You can walk through an Iron Age village and see Iron Age weaponry, or enter a Roman bath house and look at the stunning mosaics. You can even come and see our horde of Viking treasure!

Admission to the Hull and East Riding Museum is free.

Opening times

Monday to Saturday
10am to 5pm

Sunday
1.30pm to 4.30pm

Last admission - 30 minutes prior to closing.

Location

The Hull and East Riding museum of archaeology is in the Museums Quarter on High Street in Hull’s Old Town, near the Streetlife museum and Wilberforce House, next to the River Hull.
