Springhead Park golf course

A haven of green offering quality golf at reasonable prices within Hull best describes Springhead Park. Three miles to the west of the city centre is this popular 18 hole municipal course which, combined with its sibling Sutton Park, attracts approximately 35,000 visits per year. The heavenly wooded parkland course is famed for tight fairways, intelligently placed bunkers and target greens which run exceptionally true.

With green fees starting at just £13 during the week and £6 for juniors Springhead Park offers outstanding value for money. You can turn up and pay and play or subscribe to a golf tonic card. More information on tonic cards membership

Golf societies are catered for at set times within the friendly clubhouse.

The course has a shop selling drinks and confectionary as well as golf equipment. Golf club hire is not available at this site.

Opening times

Normal opening times are from dawn to dusk. The course is open seven days a week (closed Christmas Day and New Years day). Buggies are available for hire and a range of golf equipment is available to purchase from the course shop. 

Monday to Saturday
The facility operates a system of pre-booking tee times up to seven days in advance. Monday to Saturday, bookings can be taken from 8am in person or 9am by telephoning 01482 614 968.

Sundays
Bookings can be made in the club house from Wednesday evening at 7.30pm for a week the following Sunday. All matches should be arranged in either a two, three or four ball.

19th hole clubhouse
Use of the clubhouse is available to all golfers (non members included).
Persons wishing to use this facility must produce their green fee ticket and also abide by the club dress code - no jeans, trainers and shorts.
