To pay your rent you will need your housing rent reference number which is a 10-digit number printed on your housing rent account or Swipecard. You can pay your housing rent using any of the methods detailed below -
Pay online
Housing rent can be paid online 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including weekends and bank holidays.
Weekly payments Your rent can be paid through weekly instalments collected each Thursday over a period of 51 weeks as 2013/14 is a 53 week financial year.
Monthly payments If you pay full rent you can pay monthly by direct debit. You can choose to pay on any of the following dates each month, 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th.

You can pay your rent via the telephone 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including weekends and bank holidays, by telephoning 01482 300 300.
You will need to have your credit or debit card, your account details and pen and paper when you call. You will be given a unique receipt number for each payment. All supplied data is stored on a secure database.
Postal payments
You can pay your rent by cheque or postal order, made payable to Kingston upon Hull City Council. You should write your account reference number on the back of your cheque or postal order and post it to -

Cash should only be sent in registered envelopes.
Counter payments - in person only
You can pay at Hull City Council payment counters using cash, cheque, postal order or any of the debit or credit cards listed on the payments page.
