You can pay your outstanding community charge bill by any of the following methods. You will need your community charge reference number. This is an eight-digit number. You can find this number on your community charge bill or Swipecard.
Pay online
Community charge bills can be paid online 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including weekends and bank holidays.
Community charge can be paid via the telephone on 01482 300 300.
Monday to Friday 8am - 7pm
Saturday 9am - 1pm
Please select the 'speak to an operator' option when you call.
Please note, you will need to have your credit or debit card, account details and a pen and paper available when you call. Callers will be quoted a unique receipt number for each payment. All supplied data is stored on a secure database.
Postal payments
Community charge can be paid by post to -

Cheques or postal orders should be made payable to Kingston upon Hull City Council and you should write your account reference number on the back of your cheque or postal order.
Please note, cash should only be sent in registered envelopes.
