The community initiatives budget has been specifically established to support local projects for the benefit of its local community.
We welcome applications for funding from community groups, charities, agencies, council departments or other organisations that provide benefit to the residents of the local area.
How to apply for the community initiatives budget
Complete an application form, available to download below, and return it to your area team.
You can send your application to up to three area teams. You might want to do this if your initiative covers more than one area. If your initiative covers more than three areas, your application would not be eligible as we wouldn’t consider it to be a local initiative.
Ward councillors will consider your application, and the area committee will make the final decision.
Different areas have different priorities – you should include how your initiative contributes to these priorities in your application.
