Disability rail cards
Eligible pass holders can use the disability rail card on Northern Rail Train services from Hull into all East Riding of Yorkshire stations, Scarborough and York, after 9.30am Monday to Friday and all day Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays. You will need to have your pass with you onboard the train to show to the conductor.
Who can apply
You can apply for a disability rail card if you are a Hull resident, hold a disability bus pass issued by Hull City Council and be registered with social services with one of the following coloured registration cards -
- blind (yellow registration card)
- profoundly or severely deaf (white registration card)
- limbless/long term loss of use of both arms (blue registration card or a letter from NHS limbless unit)
- learning disability (pink registration card)
How to apply
To apply for a disability rail card, please complete an application form which is available from any customer service centre, by contacting 01482 300 300 or email passengertransport@hullcc.gov.uk
Find your local customer service centre
You will need to include a passport sized photograph and the original social services registration card (as above) or letter from the NHS with your application form.

You can also return your form by hand to the second floor reception of Kingston House at the above address, or to your nearest customer service centre.
Applications will usually be processed within five working days. Please note that passes are not available and applications will not be processed in the customer service centres.
