As part of Deaf Awareness Week, Hull City Council's Sensory Team will be at the Wilson Centre from Wednesday 9 - Friday 11 May to provide drop in sessions for people with hearing loss or those with family/friends with hearing loss to give advice and information on services offered by the team.
The Sensory Team will be at the Wilson Centre, Alfred Gelder Street on
Wednesday 9 May, 11am - 4pm
Thursday 10 May, 9am - 4pm
Friday 11 May, 9am - 4pm
Nikki Kirk, Sensory Team Senior Advisor, said:
"The team are available to support people with sensory impairment to make sure they can live independently and communicate with others.
"We will be talking to as many as people as possible about the support that's on offer as well as showing them a range of communication aids that is available. There will also be volunteers from Action on Hearing Loss who run a city wide free service for hearing aid care, training and repairs."
