To mark Anti-Bullying Week this year (14 - 18 November), Hull Youth Council, RAPP and the Community Anti-bullying Project have teamed up to launch the Anti-bullying Challenge.
Children and young people across the city are being asked to come up with ideas to make their school or community safer and tackle the issue of bullying.
Craig Clark, RAPP and Hull Youth Council Team Manager, said:
"We want children and young people to be creative and come up with ideas that make people stop and think about bullying and tackle some of the issues around it.
"Bullying can happen anywhere and take many forms. It is a frightening experience and can seriously affect a young person's life and self-confidence. Anything we can do to raise awareness about bullying and stop people from doing it is a positive thing."
Young people are encouraged to get their ideas in by 1 December to craig.clark@hullcc.gov.uk or by post to RAPP, 47-49 Queens Dock Chambers, Hull, HU1 3DR.
