Our unique regional attraction is home to an eclectic menagerie of animals. If you’re feeling brave then get up close to our indoor collection of snakes, tarantulas, millipedes and beetles - shudder! To calm your nerves afterwards, wander over to the paddocks and aviaries to see our furry and feathered friends. Guinea pigs rub shoulders with goats and sheep, whilst rheas run alongside deer, alpacas, wallabies and showy peacocks.
For a special treat visit the walk-through aviary. It’s one of the largest in the country and includes Koi carp, waterfall gardens and exotic birds.
Entry is free. Please do not feed any of the animals and birds (they are on special diets and the wrong food could be harmful).
