Wheelchair access

Ramped access at main entrance. A lift is available for wheelchair access to the first floor galleries.

Hearing and visually impaired patrons

A sensory tour of selected artworks is available to groups, please telephone 01482 613 902 to book a tour.

The children’s gallery uses a multi sensory approach, combining sight, sound and touch. The live art space is fitted with an audio loop.

A JORDY (Joint Optical Reflective Display) viewer is available for visually impaired persons to use during a visit to Ferens. Please book prior to your arrival by telephoning 01482 613 902.

Assistance dogs

Guide dogs are welcome. Please notify the booking office at the time of booking.

Gift shop

Our gift shop offers a variety of postcards, cards and prints, plus a selection of art and craft books.
