Youth arts

If you are aged 13 to 19 and want to get involved in the arts, why not join creative voice?

You can take part in -

  • free or low cost arts workshops in music, dance, theatre and media (available as either taster sessions or progression workshops)
  • perform at events
  • work towards an art award
  • have your say in youth arts development.

These activities take part all across the city, in youth centres and arts organisations such as Kingston Youth Centre and Hull Truck Theatre.

Creative Voice Youth Arts Festival 2015

Young people aged 13 to 19 took over some of the city's most prominet arts venues with a mix of arts performances, workshops and exhibitions.

Creative Voice Youth Arts Festival took place at Hull Truck Theatre and Kingston Youth Centre and provided young people with opportunities to showcase dance, drama and music, exhibit work and take part in workshops. Young people also made a film celebrating and promoting their achievements in the arts which can be found on the Creative Voice facebook site. Check out this film and discover how you too can access these opportunities and escape from the #cardboardbedroom.  There will be another Festival October half term 2016.
