What is this?

‘Point symbols’ help people who have difficulty reading words by showing symbols on the page as you hover your mouse on a word.

How does it work?

Look for the grey button that says ‘Point symbols disabled’ on the right hand side of the page. If you click the grey button, the point symbols will be enabled and you will see symbols appear as you hover your mouse on a word. You can turn off Point symbols by clicking the button again and disabling the function.

Do I need to download anything to view the Point symbols?

You’ll need the latest Flash player to view the Point symbols. You can download the latest version of Flash player, free of charge, on the Adobe website (link opens in a new window)
