Arrow Gillshill Primary School age range consultation

Gillshill Primary School is opening consultation in relation to extending it's current age range.

Gillshill Primary School currently has no nursery provision in the school but works closely with the private nursery on the school site. The nursery is consistently oversubscribed. The consultation looks to enhance the offer available to parents and ensure that children are able to access the full 5 terms of entitlement rather than having to be placed on a waiting list to access the provision of their choice and potentially missing out on 2 terms of nursery education.

Consultation closing date - Thursday 6 April 2017

Covering the stretch of Beverley Road between the city centre and the junction of Queens Road and Sculcoates Lane, the Townscape Heritage Scheme for Beverley Road has been awarded a grant of almost £1.6m. This is to be used to offer -

  • property maintenance
  • historic shop front restorations
  • boundary and public realm improvements
  • fund heritage training
  • engagement opportunities

We would like to hear your views to help us monitor and evaluate how much of a positive impact the scheme is having on the area.
