The Department of Children Schools and Families are giving £1.1 million to Hull to build at least 22 playspaces by March 2011.
The idea is to create challenging and exciting playspaces that improve the quality of life for children and young people aged 8-13 in Hull.
The new playspaces will be built in places where there is a real need for new spaces or for restoring an existing space. Children, young people and local communities will be involved in the design of the new playspaces. You can find out more about play builders here [insert link to play builder].
