A guide for adopted children

A guide for young children who are adopted or going through the adoption is available to download below.

The guide explains what adoption is and encourages your child to draw pictures of a variety of issues that may affect them, such as pictures of how they are feeling or how they think their adoptive family will look.

Affected by adoption

We can provide advice and assistance to you if you have been affected by adoption, whether you have been adopted, are adopters, birth parents, or other birth relatives.

In the first instance, please contact us on 01482 300 300. We can answer any general questions about adoption and, if necessary, provide information about other support organisations.
