How things might change in Hull?

People who work with children in Hull have been thinking of ways that education in Hull can be made better. Here are some of the ideas:

• Help bring pupils across the city together so they can help each other and work together

• Make it easier for children to move from primary to secondary school

• Develop new types of schools called academies

• Build or re-design schools that you might go to in the future like Ganton, Kelvin Hall, Kingswood College of Arts, Winifred Holtby, Tweendykes and Andrew Marvell College (which will become a Trust School)

• Make old buildings better at schools like Newland School for Girls, St Mary’s College, Hull Trinity House, Malet Lambert, Bridgeview, Ashwell Pupil Referral Unit, Northcott and Schoolgirl Mums Pupil Referral Unit.
