Our parking penalty charge notices have a 10-character reference number starting with KH. If your parking penalty charge notice has a different reference or ticket number format, it is not payable to Hull City Council.
Look for the details of who you have to pay on the penalty notice - this might be a magistrate's court or another local authority. You can pay your Hull City Council parking penalty charges by any of the following methods -

Parking penalty charges can be paid online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and bank holidays.
Use the online payment service
Telephone payments
You can pay your parking penalty charges via the telephone on 01482 300 300. The automated service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including weekends and bank holidays.
Text phone customers can pay by calling the call centre on 01482 300 349 from 8am till 7pm, Monday to Friday and 9am till 1pm on Saturdays. Please note that the automated payments system is not text phone compatible.
You will need to have your credit or debit card, account details and a pen and paper available when you call. We will give you a unique receipt number for each payment. All information you give us is stored on a secure database.
Postal payments
Please make cheques or postal orders payable to Kingston upon Hull City Council and write your penalty charge notice reference number on the back of your cheque or postal order. Do not send cash through the post. Please allow enough time for your payment to arrive at the council offices - the Post Office does not guarantee next day delivery on first class post.
