Mobile phone safety

I keep getting nasty texts and silent phone calls. What should I do?

Silent phone calls or nasty texts can be just as upsetting as being bullied face-to-face.

Keep the texts to show an adult that you’ve been getting them.

If you get silent phone calls just put the phone down and tell someone you trust. The person doing it wants to scare you so don’t let them know they have.

Tell someone who can help, you could call: The Community Anti-bullying Project's helpline on 08009 154545 or Children and Young People's Services Anti-bullying Project on (01482) 616660.
