What is a disability?
A disability can affect lots of different areas of the body.
Life can be challenging for someone with a disability. The world isn’t always designed to include disabled people which can make it harder to do things.
Meeting people and making friends can be tough. Some children might tease people with a disability or make fun of them. Make sure you tell an adult if you see someone being bullied. There are services in Hull to help people with disabilities do fun things like try different activities and meet people.
