Our passenger transport team liaises between the bus operators (including community transport) and the public.

We also monitor and assist with the provision of public transport in the city, along with the provision of on-street publicity and the Hull bus map.

Improving bus services
If we want to reduce congestion and pollution caused by traffic in Hull, we need to make public transport - and particularly bus services - faster and easier to use.

To do this, we are improving the road infrastructure and access to passenger information, by:

• increasing the number of bus lanes in Hull
• making up-to-the-minute bus times available through your mobile phone

Hull Bus Forum

The Hull Bus Forum meets three times a year. The meeting is open to the public and you can ask questions and give your views about existing and future bus services.

Representatives from the main bus companies and the council are invited to attend. The dates, times and venue of each Bus Forum are advertised in the press, and posters are displayed on buses.
