Adopted roads and highways

We are responsible for the adoption of new roads under the provisions of Section 38 and 278 Agreements of the Highways Act 1980.

Payment for the service

Inspection fees are as follows -

• work done under Section 38 - 5 per cent of the estimated cost of the works
• work done under Section 278 - 10 per cent of the estimated cost of the works
