How we provide this
We influence how and where public transport is provided by -
- talking to the bus and train companies, suggesting services that are needed in Hull and encouraging the use of bus travel
- creating the infrastructure to support and improve public transport (by building bus lanes, priority signals, and so on)
- promoting the use of public transport to residents and businesses
- supporting needed bus services that are not commercially viable
- providing community transport services
- providing school transport
