Working with artists and audiences to develop the arts in Hull.
We can help you take part in the cultural life of the city. We offer advice, information and funding opportunities as well as organising occasional events and projects. We also distribute a weekly e-newsletter to keep you up to date with the latest arts news.
The City Arts Unit manages events such as Creative Voice Youth Arts activities, Hull Dance, and the Humber Mouth literature festival, as well as organising community and schools’ projects. We work closely with artists, arts organisations and the general public to provide new opportunities and reach brand new audiences across the city.
We are always looking for new ways for people to get involved in the arts so if you have an idea, please talk to us. Whether you are an artist, an arts organisation, a school or community worker, or if you simply want to take part in something creative, we can support you to make things happen.
