Current Hull recycling rate 52 per cent

Target 45+

Last month together we reused, recycled and composted 52 per cent of household waste. This means we are on track to beat our target of at least 45 per cent set by the government for 2010.

Our new waste collection scheme makes it easier for you to recycle more of your waste. We now collect a wider range of material including garden waste, kitchen and food waste, cardboard, and more types of plastics.

Junk mail

The Mailing, Telephone and Fax Preference Services were set up to offer consumers and businesses an opportunity to opt out of receiving unsolicited sales and marketing messages by mail, phone or fax.
