Housing
Hull City Council is dedicated to making Hull a great place to live. This means improving and maintaining homes to create neighbourhoods that people are happy to live in.
We are working hard to improve the quality, choice and standards of housing in the city. We’re making significant investments in our housing stock to meet the Decent Homes Standard. And we are also making it easier for customers to find the right house through our HomeSearch scheme.
Housing repairs
We manage over 28,000 council-owned homes in Hull, and provide a range of housing services to our tenants, including maintenance and repair. You can now report non-emergency repairs on this site.

Tenant participation
We want to create neighbourhoods which are attractive, successful and sustainable. And our drive to increase tenant participation will ensure that residents have more say in local issues.
We are the first local authority in the UK to receive national accreditation by the Tenant Participation Advisory Service (TPAS) for the work we do to involve tenants and residents in improving housing services.
