 Hull is a community: a place where people live and work, raise families, and go through a whole range of life events and experiences.
It's a diverse community, where people from different age groups and ethnic backgrounds, and with different outlooks and interests live side by side. And it has its fair share of social issues and challenges.
Hull City Council provides services that make it possible for this community to thrive. And our partnerships with voluntary organisations add to the range of services and support in the city.
We are working hard to increase community safety, and to promote social inclusion. And our far-reaching community development plans give local people a much greater say in the services and priorities they want for their neighbourhoods.
