Repair and Renew Grant (RRG)

Flood support includes a local Repair and Renew Grant (RRG) which provides support of up to £5,000 for installing additional flood resilience and resistance measures to minimise the impact of flood water on your property. This is available to business owners and homeowners, (as well as tenants in certain circumstances) where the property suffered flood damage as a result of the tidal surge in December 2013.

Read more about the Repair and Renew Grant (RRG) and apply for help

It has been identified that some households and businesses may not apply for the RRG, as they believe that it could result in increases to their insurance premiums.  The DCLG have been working with the Association of British Insurers to address this issue and provide reassurance. Please visit the website below for further information.
