This customer service centre changed the way you can access your council services. For example, as long as you provide the necessary proofs, you can now get same day decisions on applications for housing benefit and council tax reduction.

As well as all the usual services, at The Wilson Centre you can -

Arrange or apply for

  • a place at a school for your child, or, for free school meals
  • a library card (although we do not have a library at the centre)

Get help and support

  • with filling in council forms
  • if you are homeless or faced with homelessness
  • for vulnerable adults and carers
  • if you are looking for a job

Pay the following by cash, cheque, debit or credit card

  • council bills
  • council housing
  • rent 
  • Kingston Communications telephone bills


  • potholes
  • graffiti
  • vandalism
  • abandoned cars
  • faulty street lights


  • a birth or a death
