The Riverside area, one of seven areas of the city, is made up of the Drypool, Myton, St Andrew’s and Newington wards and it has a population of 44,300 (2001 census).

The team also works closely with partner organisations including Humberside Police, NHS Hull, community wardens, children and young people’s services and local community and voluntary groups, to address the issues that you tell us are your community priorities.

Community safety action partnership (CSAP) events

CSAP meetings are an opportunity for you to identify safety priorities in your neighbourhood. At the meetings you can raise issues with the Riverside area team, Humberside Police, Humberside Fire and Rescue Service and other partner agencies. At each session we give feedback about the work that has been carried out on the priorities identified at previous meetings, and new priorities are set for everyone (the council and our partners) to work on. CSAP meetings take place every three months.
