Registration
When you register online for My Revenues and Benefits, you can view details of -
- your council tax account
- your business rates account
- any housing benefits you get
- any council tax benefits you get
Go to the online registration form
Once you have completed our online registration form, we will send you a user ID and password by post.
What this system can be used for
If you receive housing or council tax benefit from Hull City Council, you can use My Revenues and Benefits to -
- view details of your benefits
- check when a payment is due
- check what you have been paid and when
- tell us of any changes in your circumstances
If you pay council tax or business rates to Hull City Council, you can use My Revenues and Benefits to -
- check when your council tax is due
- check what discounts are being applied to your account
- change your payment method
- use the online forms to tell us of changes
- apply for a discount or exemption online

How landlords can use the system
If you are a landlord, you can use the system to check any account where the housing benefit is paid directly to you. Once you have registered, and received your user name and password, you will be able to -
- check when a payment is due
- see what payments have been made
- tell us about any changes
Once you are registered, you will also be given the option to have your housing benefit payment schedules sent electronically, rather than by post. This will be sent to you as a PDF (portable document format) attachment to your chosen email address.
System security
Information held in My Revenues and Benefits will only be used in order to process your account. The information is stored in a secure, encrypted database. Encryption is the process that securely scrambles information for your protection.
It is recommended that you always use good quality privacy protection on your own computer when using the internet.
System availability
We carry out routine maintenance on my revenues and benefits daily, usually for one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening. We also carry out maintenance between 6pm on Friday and 7.30am Saturday. A message will tell you if the system is unavailable.
