Long stay - commuter car parks

Long stay, or 'commuter', car parks are located on the edge of the city centre. They are ideal for commuters and those wishing to park for longer periods, but there is no minimum or maximum duration of stay in these car parks.

These longer stay communter car parks include surface car parks and multi-storey car parks.

Surface parking

Blanket Row
A surface car park with space for 130 vehicles and a height restriction barrier of 191cm (6' 3").

Francis Street
A surface car park with space for 182 vehicles and four marked disabled person's bays. Find it on a map.

John Street
A surface car park with space for 52 vehicles and a marked disabled parking bay. Find it on a map.

Opening times

Surface sites are open seven days a week, 8am to 6pm.

Charges apply Monday to Saturday, Sunday is free.

The charge for overstaying at a parking place or for failing to make a payment will be £60 reducing to £30 if paid within 14 days of issue of the penalty charge notice.
