The Munro review of child protection: final report

The third and final report of Professor Eileen Munro's independent review of child protection in England has been published, in which she sets out recommendations for the reform of the child protection system. Professor Munro argues that the current system needs to move from being over-bureaucratised and concerned with compliance to one that keeps a focus on children, checking whether they are being effectively helped, and adapting when problems are identified.
