Hull People's Premium

Hull People's Premium is a city-wide club which aims to save you money. On joining Hull People's Premium you will receive communications about money saving ideas and details on products that aim to help make your money go further or reduce household expenditure. We will also provide information about relevant services that are available or events taking place across the city.

How to join Hull People's Premium

Anyone can join. The easiest way to join is to text 60999 and start your text with HPP. If you include your age and postcode messages can be sent to you which are relevant to your area or age group.

The first text to Hull People's Premium is charged at your standard network rate, although it is free to receive texts.

You can still join if you do not have any credit to text or do not have a mobile telephone or landline which can receive SMS messages.

To do this email hullpeoplespremium@hullcc.gov.uk to say that you would like to join Hull People's Premium with your mobile number or landline number which can receive SMS text messages or an email address. Alternatively, you can visit a Hull City Council customer service centre, or Hull Advice on the second floor of the Wilson Centre, Alfred Gelder Street, and fill in a referral slip or speak to customer service adviser. You can also telephone 01482 300 300.

If you no longer wish to receive information from Hull People's Premium

Receiving texts is free and each text you get aims to save you money, but if you no longer want to receive text messages or other communications from Hull People's Premium, you can do one the following* -

  • text 60999 – start your message with HPP and write STOP and we will delete your details from our database

  • email hullpeoplespremium@hullcc.gov.uk

  • visit a Hull City Council customer service centre, or Hull Advice on the second floor of the Wilson Centre, Alfred Gelder Street, and fill in a referral slip and tick that you no longer want to be a member of Hull People's Premium and hand it in to the desk. Or simply speak to a customer service adviser

  • telephone 01482 300 300

It is important that you tell us by which method you receive communications from Hull People's Premium and your contact details such as your telephone number or email address so they can be deleted.

How we use and store your data

Your details will remain confidential and will never be disclosed to third parties. Your data will only be used by Hull People's Premium and to help us provide you with relevant information about goods and services from our partners. Hull City Council will store and use your personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
